A Special Thank You to the Students
And Staff in the Pine Bluff School District
  The
Pine Bluff School District's 2009 United Way Campaign was another
huge success, thanks to the students and staff who proved they care
by giving to the United Way of Southeast Arkansas.
Pine Bluff School District Bond
The Pine Bluff School District has gone through a major
reconstruction. Thirty Fourth Avenue Elementary and Broadmoor
Elementary were completely rebuilt and the other eight schools all
benefited from updates and renovation. In addition, an
academy was built on the campus of Pine Bluff High School to
house advanced placement courses and activities.

Arkansas Legislature Act 1747
During the 83rd General Assembly Regular Session, 2001, the
Arkansas Legislature entered into law Act 1747 with amended Arkansas
Code 6-13-620 pertaining to the powers and duties of school
districts.
